The Bachelor's degree is obtained after three years of study and has a full-time workload of 180 "studiepoeng"/ECTS credits.
The Master's degree is obtained after two years of study (four years for part-time students). The full-time workload is 120 "studiepoeng"/ECTS credits. An important part of this degree is independent work, earning between 30 and 60 "studiepoeng"/ECTS credits.
The "Høgskolekandidat" degree is obtained after two years of study. Holders of this degree may continue their studies and obtain a bachelor's degree.
