Foundation courses in finance/business finance.

Absolute requirements

Spring

Lecture Semester

Students will learn a multinational firm's financial exposure, use of options, calculation of profitability of foreign investment, cost of capital and capital structure.

Content


Financial management, international parity conditions, hedging foreign exchange, interest rate exposure, future and options, cost of capital, foreign investment and capital budgeting, corporate governance.

Forms of teaching and learning


Lectures, group work, exercises.

Practical training/internship


Three papers must be submitted and approved before taking the final examination.

Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam


Four hours written examination.
