Academic interests

My main fields of interests are the mix design and investigation on the mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete, Portland cement concrete, innovative cementitious materials, Energy efficiency improvement in building materials, Rheology of building materials, Phase change materials, computer simulation.

  • Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (Spain) and Østfold University College (Norway), 2018.
  • M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (Iran), 2012.
  • B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Tehran (Iran), 2008.

Work experience

  • 2018- Present: Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Østfold University College, Research fellow at Østfold University College (Norway) and European Space Agency (ESA) under supervision of Anna-Lena Kjøniksen.
  • 2015- 2018: Ph.D. position at Østfold University College, faculty of engineering, “Mix design and experimental investigation on mechanical properties of Geopolymer concrete and Portland cement concrete incorporated with micro-encapsulated phase change materials” under supervision of Anna-Lena Kjøniksen and Ramón Pamies.
  • 2013-2015: Sales expert in import and export section of petrochemical materials, Heeman Trading Company, Iran.
  • 2010-2012: Research assistant in Cement Research Center at Iran University of Science and Technology, Iran.
