Bill Nelson

Bill Nelson is a Principal Consultant for DNV GL, Houston Texas USA, focusing on development and management of risk management and human factors projects for the offshore oil and gas industry, commercial nuclear power plants, and oil and gas pipeline companies. Previously Mr. Nelson served as an engineer, program manager, and line manager at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL) in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and at the OECD Halden Reactor Project in Norway. His thirty-five years of experience in nuclear engineering, human factors, risk management, systems engineering, and computer science has been applied to the design, assessment, and operation of a wide range of technologies including nuclear power plants, military and commercial aircraft, air traffic management, offshore oil operations, and the International Space Station.
