Academic interests

My main focus is on how teachers' develop their professional digital competence in teacher education. The role of teacher is crucial and technology is to a greater extent in the backdrop.

One way of working with Professional Digital Competence in Teacher Education is through the concept of Future Classroom Labs where new ways of teaching and assessing teacher students are explored.

Background

Ann-Thérèse has a background in primary school teaching from Denmark and has worked as a teacher from 1st through 11th grade for many years. In addition to this she has a master's in educational psychology and has taught psychology for several years in Danish Teacher Education.

Her doctoral thesis was on technology use in Teacher Education: "Technology in Teacher Education - an imagined or actual practice? A cultural historical analysis of objects, motives and orientation on a societal and institutional level".
