Academic interests

Teachers' Digital Agency, Professional Digital Competence (PDC)for Teachers, in particular Norwegian Language Arts and ESL. I am currently responsible for developing and teaching a Professional Digital Competence mooc for Norwegian teachers at Upper Secondary Schools. My ongoing research focuses on teachers' perspectives on enhancing PDC and digital agency when participating at TeachMeets. Affiliated with the ØUC research group ICT in Teaching and Learning.

My masters degree is in Scandinavian literature. Texts, reading and writing, in particular in digital spaces, interests me. Prior to working at ØUC I have 11 years of teacher experience, teaching Norwegian LA and ESL at the Upper Secondary level.

Background

Employed at the Dept. of ICT in Teaching and Learning in the Autumn of 2018. I have a Master's Degree in Nordic Literature and have worked for 11 years in Norwegian Upper Secondary Schools, teaching English and Norwegian. When working as a teacher, I have always had a particular interest in how to use digital tools in my classes, in a pedagogcial, creative and constructive way. Thus, I have also taken part in various projects concerning this.

From 2017 - 2018 I was a project leader and ICT pedagouge in a company which Trains teachers and students across Norway (from grade 1-13) in how to use digital tools as means for learning, teaching and creating good learning designs. 

I like to share my knowledge and thoughts, both in classrooms and at conferences.
