Ingvild Isaksen: A Space Journey
May 22-May 24: Master student in Scenography Ingvild Isaksen presents her final MA project. A Space Journey is the first work in her overarching project Arkivet in which she is exploring alternative methods of documenting spaces through an embodying practice of scenography, negotiating awareness between our surroundings and our own bodies. A Space Journey is a participatory scenography that invites you to embody, translate, move, and be moved by your immediate surroundings.
Through this physical and imaginary experience the work aspires to gradually create a meeting point of several spaces, around and within us. It is an intimate experience between you and the space you’ve chosen to go on the journey with, and for a brief moment to the world outside you both.
You choose the space to participate with, ideally somewhere you would like to (re) discover. The journey is done in your own company but involves a phone call to a professional phone call receiver. In order to provide this service, we ask you to start on time.
