  • wish to explore methods from visual art, theatre, dance and architecture
  • wish to devise and perform independent productions, - and collaborative projects

Who can apply?

The Norwegian Theatre Academy is exempted from the standard Norwegian university entrance requirements. Separate guidelines have been prepared for entrance procedures. The criterion for acceptance is artistic talent, and this is assessed in artistic entrance auditions. Anyone can apply to take the entrance audition. Because of the international profile of the academy there are no requirements for Norwegian language skills. It is, however, expected that non-Scandinavian students acquire an understanding of Norwegian during their course of studies.
