I have previously worked as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at London South Bank University (Department of Psychology), University of Brighton (School of Applied Social Science) and King's College London (Institute of Psychiatry). I currently teach topic areas such as:
-psychosocial theory and narrative methods
-critical psychosocial approaches to mental health
-critical social and developmental psychology
-qualitative research methods
My research interests are in the fields of psychosocial studies and critical psychology, and include embodiment, reflexivity, space, emotion and qualitative research methodologies.
I conduct qualitative research in the areas of child protection, psychological medicine and critical social psychology.
