Information about Section for Student Services

Section for Student Services is responsible for providing academic guidance and counselling to students. We process student-related cases concerning leave of absence, recognition of prior learning and qualifications, police certificates of good conduct, and similar matters. The section also assists with accommodations and support services for students who require them. In addition, the section is responsible for the allocation and coordination of practical training placements (clinical/practice studies).

The Learning Environment Committee (LMU) is administered through the section. The LMU serves as a driving force and strategic advisory body, actively participating in the planning and development of Østfold University College’s efforts to create an inclusive, diverse, and universally designed learning environment.

Furthermore, the Student Support Section provides support to the student leader and the Student Parliament.
