The Data Protection Officer at Østfold University College (HiØ)
The primary role of HiØ's Data Protection Officer (DPO) is to ensure that HiØ processes personal data in compliance with the data protection regulations. The DPO also has a vital role when HiØ carries out privacy impact assessments (DPIA).
HiØ has appointed Hanne Pernille Gulbrandsen from Deloitte Legal as HiØ’s DPO.
Her main task is to inform and advise the management, staff, and students at HiØ about our obligations under the privacy legislation.
As an employee or student, you can contact the DPO to find out if and why HiØ processes personal data about you, and with questions about the exercise of your rights according to the data protection regulations. The same applies to respondents in any of HiØ's research projects.
