The PhD position at LUSP aims to identify and investigate digital exclusion among children and young people in school, family, and leisure. The PhD candidate will work with peer-reviewed research literature, publicly available qualitative and quantitative research data, and engage in dialogue with children and young people using Q-methods. The PhD position at HVO aims to identify and investigate what vulnerability entails for children and young people receiving welfare services in a digital age. We especially wish to focus on children living in difficult life situations. The PhD candidate will use qualitative methods and, through dialogue with vulnerable children and young people, identify their perspectives on vulnerability. The PhD candidate will also study professionals’ attitudes toward and perspectives on vulnerability among children and young people.
