The collaboration between these faculties provides a solid foundation for studying the inclusion of children and young people from various perspectives, such as health-related angles – child welfare, nursing, social education, or sports studies, and from educational perspectives – pedagogical, special education, psychological, sociological, social anthropological, or media studies.
CHANGE also establishes a broad collaborative network with the practice field. Currently, this includes, among others, the Østfold Museums, Østfold County, Halden Municipality, Råde Municipality, Smartbygda Råde, Fredrikstad Municipality, Indre Østfold Municipality, Sarpsborg Municipality, Rakkestad Municipality, and Østfold Hospital.
The establishment of networks and external partners is continuously developing, and in addition to HiØ's faculties, CHANGE collaborates with both national and international research environments such as OsloMet, OsloMet Holmlia, University of Stavanger, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Nord University, and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, University of Gotheborg (SWE) og University of Groningen (NL).
