Literature in Times of Crisis
The project "Literature in times of crisis" started in 2023, and focuses on what function literature can have in the face of various crises, both individual (for example illness, trauma, flight and migration) and societal (for example war, natural disasters or political upheavals). Among other things, we examine how literary texts (in a broad sense) can address crises and contribute to increasing our understanding of crises. We are also interested in contributions to do with crisis in approaches to literature, related to reading, education, the role of literature and culture in society.
