Summary: This book tells the story of the little tiger Leo, who is a late bloomer. He is a sloppy eater; he isn’t reading or writing; he is not even speaking. His father is very worried and asks: “What is the matter with Leo?”  “Nothing” Leo’s mother says, “Leo is just a late bloomer.” But Leo’s father can see no sign of blooming and chooses to watch television instead of Leo. Time passes, and one day, in his own good time, Leo is blooming. The book has colourful and expressive illustrations.

Suitable for students in years: 3-4
