Summary: This book tells the story about Mr. Wolf who fancies some pancakes. However, he does not know how to make pancakes so he asks his neighbours, all known characters from different fairy tales, like chicken licken, Wee Willy Winky, the Gingerbread Man etc. But, none of them wants to help; they behave like a mean and horrible lot. So, Mr. Wolf figures out how to make pancakes all by himself. Slowly, a lovely smell drifts from his kitchen, and all his neighbours come to his door asking for a bite. Mr. Wolf says no, but they all storm into his kitchen to have their share. And, the story has a very surprising ending…
