Summary: This book tells the story of a young boy named Franklin, but everybody calls him the Cloudspotter. Franklin loves spotting all kinds of clouds, like big clouds, squeaky clouds, sneaky pretend-they-can’t-see-you clouds and angry clouds. This way, he does not feel so lonely. One day, a scruffy dog joins him, and wherever Franklin goes that scruffy dogs follows him, day and night. He wants the scruffy dog to go away, and Franklin puts his plan into action. However, when that scruffy dog is gone, Franklin is neither happy nor pleased. Perhaps that dog was searching for a friend…
