Summary: This book tells the story of the Rainbow fish who, with his shimmering scales, is the most beautiful fish in the sea. The other fish ask him to have one of his shining scales, but the Rainbow fish tells them off. He appears vain and proud, and none of the other fish want to be his friend. Finally, the Rainbow fish talks to the octopus who advises him to give away his beautiful scales which will make him happy and a good friend, but not the most beautiful fish anymore. Will Rainbow fish take this advice?
