Summary: This book tells the story of Tilda who is a happy only child with lots of books and toys and a large group of friends; her life seems perfect. Suddenly, life changes dramatically. She experiences a troubling change of her world; nothing feels right, and she does not want to play with her friends anymore. Then, one day she sees a ladybird stuck on its back and observes how it struggles to get back on its feet. She identifies herself with the ladybird and decides not to give up; she gains the courage to take steps to cope with life again, and from now on, life slowly changes to the better.
