Summary: This book tells the story of Sam & Dave who want to find something spectacular. They decide to dig a hole, but cannot find anything extraordinary. Then they decide to split up and tunnel in different directions, but without luck. They continue digging deeper together, but still nothing spectacular can be seen. After some time, they feel exhausted and fall asleep. But when waking up, they discover that the extraordinary can be found in a manner you would not expect. The boys end up in a world which is not exactly the same world as they left.
