Then speedfriending might be just the thing for you! This will also be an opportunity to meet Norwegian students and other international exchange students starting their studies at ØUC.
What is speedfriending?
Speedfriending takes place in Zoom, where participants are gathered to get to know each other. During the event:
- everyone will be put into random groups to chat and get to know each othert
- he groups will be changed after a short time so you can meet new people
The goal of Speedfriending is to get the opportunity to talk to people and have a good time. We expect that everyone that participates brings a positive attitude, shows respect and is of a mindset that this is something nice we do to together.
When is Speedfriending?
Speedfriending will be held digitally on August 15 at 4 p.m. (16.00) in Zoom and will last until 5:40 p.m. (17.30).
How can I join?
You need access to the internet
Zoom has to be installed on your device (PC/Mac/Tablet/Mobile phone)
Expectations for all participants:
You must have your name listed as your username
You must have your camera on during speedfriending
It is expected that all participants will show understanding and respect to each other. We expect participants to act in regards with social and cultural norms as in any other official capacity. Unwanted behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the event. (There is no English language requirement, but we as that everyone tried to be inclusive as best they can.)
