If students from international partners attend courses, the lectures will be conducted in English.

Coursework requirements - conditions for taking the exam

  • Submission of a pilot project report early in the semester.
  • Submission of a midway status report and work log.

The coursework requirements must be approved before students may sit the exam.

Exam

Report and individual oral exam

The report (individual or in groups of two) is assessed on the basis of a pass or fail.

The individual oral exam consists of a presentation of the report followed by a discussion. Duration: 20-30 minutes. Letter grading scale A?F. No support materials permitted.

The report must be awarded a pass grade before students may take the oral exam. A final overall individual grade is awarded for the course.

Students may appeal against a fail grade. If a fail grade is changed to a pass, the student(s) may take the oral exam.

Students must take both exam components in the case of resit exams. Topics must be agreed with the course instructor in the case of resit exams or rescheduled exams.

Reading list

Literature relevant for the selected topic is agreed between the supervisor and the student during the semester.
