Taking an exam outside Østfold University's premises
If there are special circumstances, you may apply to sit an exam at another Norwegian or international university, university college, or at a Norwegian embassy, consulate, or Seamen’s Church abroad.

- Spring: 1 April
Fees
An administrative fee is charged for each exam:
- Exam at another Norwegian university or university college: NOK 700
- Exam abroad: NOK 1,000

NB! Students affiliated with the Department of Language, Literature and Culture are exempt from paying the administrative fee to Østfold University of Applied Sciences.
Exams at Østfold University of Applied Sciences for students from other institutions
Students enrolled at other Norwegian universities and university colleges may apply to sit a written examination at Østfold University of Applied Sciences.
NB! Campus Fredrikstad does not have the capacity to accommodate students from other institutions.
