School exams

It is your own responsibility to check what study aids/support materials are allowed during the exam. If you have support materials available that is not permitted, it will be regarded as cheating or attempted cheating. This also applies to mobile phones.

  • All support material should be available for inspection on the day of the exam.
  • The person with academic responsibility for the course, the administration, and the invigilators have the right to inspect the support materials you have brought along, before, during and after the exam. If unlawful use or availability of support materials is discovered before, during or after the exam, the matter can be reported as attempted cheating.
  • Only writing materials, food and permitted study aids may be brought to the candidate's designated desk.
  • It is not permitted to borrow support materials from other candidates.

Home exams

For home exams and written assignments, you will generally have access to all aids, but that does not mean their use is without limitations. Even if all aids are permitted, not all forms of use are legal.

The exam paper will provide clear information about which use of aids is allowed.
