Below is information about what you need to do to prepare for your appointment at the police. Drop by during the opening times and we can go through the process together and be available to answer questions.
Be sure to bring your laptop and student ID for printing.
For EU/EEA citizens:
You must bring with you to the appointment the following
- National ID card or passport
- Admission letter from HiØ (this was sent as an email)
- European Health Insurance Card or private insurance
- Personal declaration that you have enough money
- You can simply write a statement that says some like “I declare that I have sufficient funds to support myself while studying in Norway.”

For non-EU/EEA citizens:
It is important that you check yourself what is required for your application as it may vary from student to student.
