Match Day promises a lively atmosphere all day long at Litteraturhuset, featuring gaming, tournaments, and a Millennial Party with a DJ. It’s an event for everyone—whether you want to compete, have fun, watch the action, hang out with your group, or simply soak up the great vibe.
See further down the page for a link to purchase tickets for the event.
From 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Match Day
Experience a diverse range of esports, featuring team games and tournaments—including Mario Kart. We guarantee it’ll be fun!
We’re also hosting a Smash Bros tournament during the event. Super Smash Bros is a hugely popular multiplayer game where Nintendo characters face off against each other. You choose a character, jump around the arena, and try to knock your opponent out. It’s fast-paced, chaotic, and great fun—even if you’ve never played before.
Prize for the winner: a PS5!
From 8:00 PM: Millennial Party with DJ Steve Aioli!
We switch to party mode with music, energy, and 2000s nostalgia. DJ Steve Aioli is confirmed to set the mood once the dance floor opens up.
There is a break in the program between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, giving you the chance to grab a bite to eat from the wide selection of places around Litteraturhuset. You’ll find a food truck selling baked potatoes right outside.
This event is open to all HiØ students. It’s a great opportunity to get to know fellow students!
