- I have worked with research, development and education throughout my professional life: 15 years in the private sector with process and product development (Denofa AS) and R&D / Consulting in Process and Environmental Chemistry (Cowi) and 25 years in Public Sector: Teacher secondary School (4 years), Ph.D- student at Norwegian Umiversity of Life Sciences (4 years), Department of Waste and Environmental Pollutants at Jordforsk / Ås, now NIBIO (3 years), Assistant professor (20% position) at Østfold University College (1994-2003), dean Østfold University College (2003 - 2007), Pro-Rector Østfold University College (2007 - 2012), Rector Østfold University College (2012 - 2019), and associate professor (2019 - ). I have supervised a number of bachelor, master, and Ph.D. students as well as being an opponent of doctoral theses.
