Deputy Head of Department, Department of Engineering
Background
I am currently Deputy Head of the Department of Engineering at Østfold University College. Previously, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the same department. I hold a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), with a specialization in structural engineering.
Before joining academia, I worked as a consulting engineer at COWI and as a design manager at Consolis/Spenncon.
My professional background includes experience in structural engineering, building information modeling (BIM), project management, and technical building design. I am particularly interested in strengthening the connection between education and industry, and in ensuring that engineering education remains practical and relevant.
Teaching experience
As an Assistant Professor, I taught a wide range of courses in the civil engineering program, particularly within structural engineering and project administration.
