Interdisciplinary Exploration and Development of Teaching

The research group works with systematic exploration and development of teaching and pedagogical practice. It seeks to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and research activity to improve the quality of teaching.

The group aims to stimulate pedagogical experimentation and testing, and increased research activity. To do this, the group aims to increase the number of participants across disciplines and to involve students more.

Participants in the group explore and research areas such as pedagogical solutions, the interaction between students and teachers, students in teams, student-active teaching and research, appropriate pedagogical use of technology, and a variety of other topics.

In 2023, we will 1) challenge ourselves on what is important to improve teaching in the interaction between students, teachers, technology, and interdisciplinarity, and 2) build a culture for pedagogical development, dissemination, and research that promotes better teaching and strong participation from the students, preferably through collective experimentation, testing, validation, development, and research.

The research group's Norwegian name is Tverrfaglig utforskning og utvikling av undervisning.
