One of the first pilot scenarios we developed is an interactive learning pathway that visualises the physiological processes involved in regulating blood glucose levels in the body. Instead of reading about these processes in a textbook, students can “step inside the body” and see how blood glucose is regulated in real time. The scenario is used by bachelor’s students in social education, nursing and biomedical laboratory science. Developed by Heidi Kristine Grønlien and Bente Marie Berntsen Jacobsen.

Another pilot scenario currently under development for social education and nursing students focuses on medication management. Here, students will practise how medications are administered in different situations, gain knowledge of medication categories, and learn what effects different medications have on the body’s organs and how they work. Developed by Veronica Eidesgaard and Stina Fridh.
Below, you will find scenarios developed in collaboration with academic staff from different educational programmes. This section is updated continuously.
Master in intensive care

Bachelor’s nursing students have used the simulation game “Talking with Children”, a web-based simulation with different cases focusing on violence and abuse involving children. Snakkemedbarn.no was developed by the Regional Centres for Violence, Traumatic Stress and Suicide Prevention (RVTS) on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir). Course coordinator: Renate Slang.
Bachelor in Child welfare
The first image is from child welfare students’ simulation training in de-escalating communication. The scenario takes place at a train station, where a young person has run away from a child welfare institution.
The second image is from a session in which child welfare students used Snakkemedbarn.no (RVTS) to practise different types of conversations with children and adolescents. Course coordinator for the simulations: Hege Hedlund Andersen.

Other scenarioes
Examples of scenarios and 3D images/videos available in the content library, which can be edited and adapted as needed, are shown below. The CPR escape room was adapted in accordance with Norwegian Resuscitation Council (NRR) guidelines and used during a CPR instructor gathering in autumn 2025.
