Dental care

The Norwegian National Insurance Scheme does not generally cover dental treatment for adults and you must therefore pay for any treatment you receive at a private dental office. However, there are a few exceptions to this general rule.

Dental treatment is expensive in Norway and costs may vary between dental offices. We recommend that you check the consultation prices (norwegian only) before contacting a dentist and that you have a dental check-up in your home country before coming to Norway.
