- Hi, my name is Nina. I am from Georgia (country). In my home university I study Economics, but here I am at the faculty of Business, languages and science.
Why did you choose to apply for student housing at Remmen?
- I chose to apply for student housing at Remmen because it is really close to the university and all the facilities I need. Also, all exchange students are here, therefore it’s easy to communicate with them.

What benefits do you experience from living close to campus?
- For me the best thing about living close to campus is to easily attend all the events interesting for me and simply use all the facilities campus is offering.
What do you appreciate most about living in student housing?
- For me the most appreciable thing about living in student housing is that it is very easy to make friends, communicate and get close to each other so you don’t feel alone or stressed.
How does living with other students affects your everyday study?
- While you are living with other students, I think, you are more informed about everything. Also, you can study and have fun and do a lot of activities at the same time.
What do you want to highlight as positive about the student housing on Remmen?
- In my opinion the positive about Remmen housing is the main room with all the kitchen facilities and board games. Besides this, for me it is really useful to have a laundry room with pre-filled machines. And also, the staff here is really helpful and friendly.
Do you have any tips and advice for others who are considering applying for student housing?
- I would recommend not to hesitate and apply as soon as possible because housing is offering great facilities at a reasonable price.
What do you like best about Halden city?
- The city is quite small but it offers a number of useful places for students to spend free time and have fun.
