Who can register for a postponed (re-scheduled) exam?
If you have failed the ordinary exam, you are entitled to take a postponed exam, provided that at least three students (or two students for cohorts of up to 20 students) who failed the most recent ordinary examination register for it.
If you were ill during the ordinary exam and have documented your absence with a medical certificate, you may apply for a postponed exam.
Postponed exams for third-year courses are also open to students wishing to improve their grade.
When can I register?
- In January, the registration deadline is approximately one week before the resit written examination is due to take place.
- In August, the registration deadline is 1 August.
The withdrawal deadline is the same as the registration deadline.
