Who can register for a postponed (re-scheduled) exam?
If you have failed the ordinary exam, you are entitled to take a postponed exam, provided that at least three students (or two students for cohorts of up to 20 students) who failed the most recent ordinary exam register for it. If you submit an application, you will be informed whether the examination will be held.
If you were ill during the ordinary exam, documented your absence with a medical certificate and your absence was approved as valid, you may apply for a postponed exam.
If you wish to improve your grade, you will normally need to wait until the next ordinary exam. However, in some cases you may register for a postponed exam. If you submit the application form, you will be informed whether you are eligible to sit the exam.
If you wish to take an exam as a private candidate, you can find more information under "Exams for private candidates" on the exam registration page.
