I am a PhD researcher working within the MishMash project. My research spans human–computer interaction, machine learning and music, with a focus on creative human–AI interaction.
I am interested in how AI models can become playable musical instruments that performers can explore and learn. This includes developing meaningful ways to navigate sound, balancing predictable control with creative discovery, and supporting real-time interaction with generative models.
I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Shiraz University.
