I am a qualitative media communication researcher with a background in journalism and listening studies. My current work incorporates a migration and mobility lens, examining the intersection of expat digital communities and embedding experiences in Norway.

Background

B.A. (2020) & MSc (2025) in Journalism and Media Communication from Colorado State University.

My master's degree focused on developing a theory of life narrative listening. The project was multifaceted and participatory, involving more than 20 undergraduate students. As a method of data collection for the theory development, we created the Storylisteners Podcast (season 1) to discuss the role of life narrative listening with vocational listeners in our communities. The podcast has continued past the initial study to include more seasons exploring the role of listening.
