Background
Hi! I am a Doctoral Research Fellow at Østfold University College, where I focus on developing an interactive 3D framework that brings archaeological artifacts back to life— not as a single definitive model, but as dynamic visualizations of multiple possibilities. The goal is to make the process of reconstruction transparent, showing not only what we know but also what we don't know. By visualizing this "uncertainty," we can better understand the different interpretations and assumptions that archaeologists make.
I hold a degree in Engineering from the VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czechia. During my studies, I also spent time at the University of Stavanger, Norway, gaining international experience that has shaped my approach to computer graphics and embedded systems. Additionally, I have worked as a software developer in Switzerland, specializing in embedded systems, software optimization, and hardware-software integration.
Outside of my technical work, I am passionate about hiking, martial arts, and fencing. I believe the discipline, focus, and resilience cultivated through these activities are reflected in my approach to software development and research.
