PhD student Abdul Ghafoor Nizamani, a member of the research group Building and Environment (BM-forsk), has had his first publication. The article is titled "Climate as the primary moderator: towards context-driven design and implementation of vertical greenery systems for stormwater management". It has been published in the journal Environmental Research Letter, which is ranked at level 2, the highest level in the Norwegian channel register. Read the article HERE
It is a tradition in the BM-forsk research group to present a coffee cup to members who publish their first article. The cup has the HiØ logo on one side and the article's summary printed on the other. The picture shows Abdul together with Geir, Henrik and Anna-Lena, who are also part of BM-forsk, when he was recently presented with the very special cup. Abdul is now going on an exchange to TU Delft in the Netherlands for three months. Here he will do even more research on nature-based solutions for managing stormwater in cities. We wish him good luck with his stay and welcome back to HiØ in May!
