IRG Showcases Research at ICERI 2026

This autumn, the Innovation Research Group (IRG) at Østfold University College has made a major contribution to the ICERI Conference through a series of papers on education, research, and innovation. Together, we are pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve, all with one goal: creating better learning experiences for students and stronger collaboration with companies and public sector organizations.

This year, members of IRG have submitted a diverse collection of papers to ICERI. The topics range from innovative learning methods and student engagement to sustainability, circular economy, industry collaboration, and research-based education.

At the heart of our work is the principle Learn to know by doing, and to do by knowing

The ICERI submissions showcase this approach in practice. They demonstrate how education, research, and innovation can strengthen one another and generate new opportunities for students, researchers, and partners alike.

We would also like to recognize our PhD candidates, who generously share their research and contribute fresh perspectives to our growing community of scholars. Their work plays an important role in strengthening both the quality of our research and our collective learning.
