Currently works on application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, internet of things, and distributed ledger technologies in research areas related to smart cities for smart mobility, smart health, sustainable energy towards achieving the UN sustainable development goals in society.

Previously was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Department of Computer Science at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway
-PhD in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computer System & Software Engineering, University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. 
-MSc in Information Systems from the Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems, University Putra Malaysia.
-BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from University of East London (UEL), UK.

Research area

Research in smart sustainable cities and digital systems.
-Digital ecosystems for smart cities (smart environments, intelligent systems, distributed systems, and data management).
-Data-sharing in smart cities (data markets, data governance, distributed ledger technologies, and big data technologies).
- Data-driven citizen centered service innovation in smart cities (public services, mobility, and sharing economy).
- Sustainable smart cities (energy informatics, citizen behaviour change, climate change mitigation and adaptation).
