Background
I am an accountant at Østfold District College in Halden and in Molde in the period 1979 - 1982, and am a lecturer at the Department of Economics, Innovation and Society at Østfold University College. I have worked as an accountant, finance manager, councilor, municipal plan and finance, journalist, editor, college lecturer, and have since 2005 been employed as general secretary of a nationwide association in finance and collection. By appointment, I have been a member of the supervisory board of Kommunekreditt, the board of alarm fire east, boards of municipal limited companies, a member of the professional committee for good municipal accounting practice, etc.
I have been associated with Østfold University College since the beginning of the 1990s and teach accounting and finance subjects, such as financial accounting, public accounting, accounting regulations, financial management and more. In recent years, I have been the coordinator for the auditing and accounting education, and am otherwise a guest lecturer at a number of the country's universities and colleges. For a 4-year period, I have been elected to the National Council for Higher Education, and for the past year have been a member of a sub-election, which has worked with sustainability.
