PhD-programme
Digitalisation and Society
Background
My PhD research explores the ethics of artificial emotional intelligence and its application to social robots, aiming to contribute to the development of ethical, human-centric technologies.
With a MSc in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, and a MA in Applied Ethics from Utrecht University, I have specialised in the ethics of AI, bioethics, and the intersection of technology and society. My academic work is complemented by professional experience in editorial projects, participation in ethics committees, and organisations of conferences and workshops.
For publications, check my profile on Google Scholar, and my LinkedIn profile for more updated information about my research.

AI ethics and social robotics are my main areas of research, but I am also a sucker of bioethics and critical theory.
