In this workshop you will meet researchers who focus on multilingualism and learning – particularly in the context of vocational education, but also more broadly, across the curriculum. We explore questions such as
- What do we know about multilingualism and multilingual students in vocational education?
- What role do language(s) and language skills play when students are learning a trade?
- Why should we pay attention to multilingualism across the curriculum?
- How may we work with multilingualism as a resource in vocational education and across subjects?
In the workshop, we offer several shorter talks, and we invite you to share your experiences and partake in conversations about multilingualism in vocational education and across the curriculum.
Target audience and registration
The event is aimed towards teachers and teacher educators, but is open to anyone interested in the topics. Attendance is free, but we encourage you to sign up via this registration form, so we have an idea of how many who plan to attend.
