Exams and artificial intelligence (AI)

Exams and assignments must be your own, independent work. If you use any sources in your answers, you must always refer to them.

Using text, calculations, code, images, or other material generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) in an exam submission and presenting it as your own work constitutes academic misconduct (cheating), this also includes citing fictitious sources. You must disclose and explain any use of  AI-generated material in your submission.

The course instructor will provide specific guidelines on how AI may be used for your exam/submission.

You must familiarise yourself with the university's guidelines for the use of AI.

You can find useful information on how to write a paper and how to cite sources on the library's pages.
