What is a double degree?
Students can earn two coordiated degrees, one of which is awarded by a partner institution. Typically, the students in the program are simultaneously enrolled at both universities and dedicate a certain amount of time to study in an equivalent or complementary specialization, attending part of their degree program at an international partner university. Your academic achievements are mutually recognized by both institutions.
This means you can earn two degrees within the standard duration of study. After completing the program, you obtain two diplomas.

Students coming to Rotkreuz (between Lucerne and Zug) from abroad receive a high standard of education. They benefit from a modern building and infrastructure, an inspirational setting and an education that is both academic and practical.

Students from HiØ will complete their first year at HiØ. The third and/or fourth semester will be completed at HSLU.

There is no tuition fee but students will have to pay a one-time administration fee of CHF 200. Students will be considered for Erasmus+ funding.
Students are required to pay CHF 220 Diploma Fees for the issuing of their degree after graduation from HSLU-I.

Students from HiØ will complete their first semester at HiØ. The second and third semester will be completed at IPVC. The fourth and final semester, the students will do their master’s thesis (30 ECTS) at HiØ. The master’s thesis is supervised only by your home institution (HiØ).
This double degree program is specifically designed for students in the Cyber Security Management specialization.
