Academic interests
I am committed to understanding the connections between work inclusion and welfare policy, with a particular focus on how we can work locally, regionally, and nationally to provide people with real opportunities to succeed in education and employment.
My professional interests include inclusion competence grounded in a combination of theoretical insight and practical experience, as well as a strong emphasis on relationships, mastery, and psychological safety.
A central focus of my research is how the development of pedagogical methods can contribute to better learning environments and more effective learning processes.
My goal is to create learning arenas where students experience psychological safety—where they feel encouraged to be curious and engaged, and where there is room to try, fail, and grow.
