Interreg FREIIA Field Study at Groix France

Interreg researchers and Norwegian students in Innovation and project management at Østfold University College, in Fredrikstad, Norway, are in Groix this week as part of the Interreg FREIIA WP4 field studies. They are interviewing the island's inhabitants about the island community and their perception of the challenges it faces in terms of sustainable development. At the end of these interviews, a debate workshop will be organized this Friday, February 14, 2025, in Port Lay.

Patrick, Sander, and Maiken interviewed a journalist on the island and were interviewed in return about what they were doing there. As a result, they and the project were featured in the newspaper Le Télégramme down in Brittany (see faximile).

14 students and two teachers are on a trip as part of the Interreg FREIIA Field Studies at Groix, France. The students contribute to data collection, analysis, and a workshop on sustainable development in the island community. Theory, methods, and practice come together in powerful learning through the international research project 🦭.
