Industry Panel (Norwegian)

We are pleased to invite you to an exciting panel discussion at this year's NIKT conference. Harald Holone will moderate the discussion, focusing on the skills that companies will need in the future, both from our upcoming IT students and researchers.

The panel will be in Norwegian and consists of leading representatives from various sectors:

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA):

KDA develops and delivers technology and systems that protect people and critical infrastructure globally. Through innovation and state-of-the-art industrial production, we create jobs and value for our suppliers, partners, customers, and owners. Per-Olav Rusås, Senior System Engineer at KDA in Moss, will share his insights regarding KDA's future needs for IT expertise.

Institute for Energy Technology (IFE):

IFE conducts research for a better future and has been internationally leading in energy research since 1948. We bridge the gap between research, education, and industrial operations. Morgan Kjølerbakken, Head of Applied Data Science at IFE, will provide insights into the needs IFE identifies for the future of energy research.

Østfold Hospital:

Østfold Hospital conducts high-quality health research across several disciplines, focusing on creating new knowledge that improves patient treatment and healthcare services. The hospital aims to become a leading research hospital in the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, with an established research environment and an increased number of research projects and PhDs. Jarl Schjerverud, project manager for digital training and simulation, will provide insights into the hospital's needs for future healthcare technology.

Nexans:

Nexans is one of the world's leading producers of cables and cabling solutions, driving electrification forward and leading the transition to renewable energy. Jon-Arne Häll, Head of Early Engagement, brings 28 years of experience in various roles within Nexans and recently represented Nexans in a panel debate at Arendalsuka.

We look forward to an engaging discussion with our panel participants, where together we will explore the future skill requirements in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Workshops

NIKT2025 invites you to participate in six engaging and inspiring workshops, all taking place on Monday, November 24th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Campus Halden. Participants will be served refreshments during breaks and lunch. Please note that attending the workshops requires you to be registered for at least one day of the conference. For registration: Registration NIKT 2025

We look forward to welcoming you!
