Faglige interesser/Academic Interests
My main interests are democratic theory, democratic education and liberal political philosophy. I am currently working on projects related to the normative justifications for democracy and what are the best theoretical and practical models of democracy. Following my interest in democratic theory I have developed an interest in the role of democratic education in modern democracies. Regarding my interest in justifications for democracy and the role of democratic education I have argued in favour of more realistic understandings of democracy. My research and interest in liberal political philosophy has emphasised the institutional implications of theories of justice, the role of a welfare state, justifications for plural voting and the role of judicial review in liberal democracies.
