The team—made up of teacher educators and school leaders from Norway, Iceland, and Sweden—spent time getting to know one another and sharing their hopes and ambitions for the project. We also explored a set of challenges that seem to resonate across all three countries: keeping pace with rapid technological change, finding the time and motivation for teachers to stay updated, and ensuring that professional development feels meaningful rather than burdensome.
These themes will guide our upcoming in-person workshops, where we will work with future scenarios to help us move from reacting to digital change toward proactively shaping it.
We also compared support structures and policy landscapes in our respective countries, including the common struggles around GDPR and privacy.
We are now looking forward to the physical workshop in Umeå, Sweden, on the 25–26th of February.
